Dear Becky
I received this sweet postcard from my wonderful mil in England. So very glad to know that someone -besides me- enjoys the blog. Motivated me to get back at it. Thank you Becky.

Still at it
So, the Ultimate Holiday craze is still in full swing. Today was National Blueberry Popover Day. I have never heard of blueberry popovers, but they sounded good so I figured out what they were - thank you Google - and went for it.
They are a lot like the German oven pancakes we love so much. I served them with powdered sugar and maple syrup.

March Wind
The second the weather is suitable for kite flying, Jake whips out all his gear, grabs anyone around and heads over to our neighborhood park to fly some kites. The sun was out with blue skies, some clouds here and there, and an icy wind (a little too biting for me). Succumbing to the March frolic: Dani, Jon, Ginny, and I - just long enough to get some photos of the fun.
Dani getting read to launch.
There was too much wind to keep the airplane kite afloat, it kept diving straight into the ground.
Jon had to keep a tight grip to keep from flying off with the kite.
Ginny was so excited to get a turn, she asked if it was her turn about 299 times.
That look on her face says it all: kind of scary & kind of exciting!
We are all so very happy to feel spring in the air. After that long, hard winter a day like today is priceless.

Crazy Kids
They said that they were getting dressed for "the party." They each put on a pair of Ginny's tights over their pants and found some fancy shoes. Ginny even put on another shirt - backwards. Adam's boots are da bomb! I found the book Max's New Suit laying on the ground nearby so I think Max and Ruby may have inspired the "party" attire. Crazy Kids.
