50 Miles

Elijah has been working on his cycling merit badge. Today, he along with a group of local Boy Scouts, went on a 50 mile ride - it ended up being 55 for him. So cool Lige! He loved it. He is a great cyclist and has found a real love for this sport.

It stopped raining when they left on their ride and then a huge thunderstorm rolled in right after he walked in the door. He said that they had a close encounter with a skunk. They all stopped and froze as it ran across the trail in front of them. The skunk stopped and looked at them then took off again. Phew! (So glad I didn't have to use a different exclamation here.)
