These Girls Rock!

This was a big night for the Young Women in our neighborhood. It was a movie premier themed Young Women in Excellence with the full on red carpet treatment. The girls dressed way up and dazzled us all with how strikingly beautiful they are. A limousine picked up each girl from their homes and brought them to the church  for a star like arrival. The parents were all waiting to capture the moment as star-struck fans and paparazzi. All the big entertainment new sources (New Era, Mormon Times, Ensign, Mormon.org) are dying to get their hands on these photos. Oh yes they are!

The girls all made their own movie star posters. One of the young women took all the photos of the girls as one of her value projects.

Notice the bling on Dani's bee - it is totally rocking the Honor Bee charm!

This was an especially memorable night for our family. Gabrielle earned her Young Womanhood Recognition (recognizes that she has completed all her Personal Progress requirements) and Danielle received her Honor Bee (recognizes the young women who are willing to do more than is required). I have also been working on my Personal Progress again and was awarded the ribbon for Virtue. 

I don't know how parents can feel any more wowed by their children. Jake and I are so impressed by their commitment to the Young Women Values, they are such strong examples of what it means to be a daughter of God. Their composure, their attitudes, their kindness were so prevalent. And lets talk about gorgeous, wow! 

Yep, these girls rock!
